Our Mission
We support more than 40 children, ages three to twenty-one, through every stage of childhood and the transition into adulthood. We are committed to providing a safe, loving, and supportive home where vulnerable children and young adults can grow, learn, and build a future filled with possibility.
Many of the children who come to Twinomujuni have endured profound hardship. We become their family.
Our mission is to ensure that every child knows they are loved and valued. Every child deserves a safe place to call home.
Our Needs
Our monthly expenses cover nutrition, shelter, clothing, healthcare, and school fees for the children and young adults in our care.
With a handful of children currently enrolled in University and many more preparing to enter in the near future, our tuition expenses are also rising quickly. We believe that supporting our children does not end when they leave Twinomujuni. Rather, it’s our responsibility to provide support to our children until they are established.
The cost per semester for each University student is $600 USD, therefore one of our primary needs is financial assistance to cover the growing expense.
Small monthly donations are the easiest ways to support our work, but we’re always grateful for one-time donations as well!

In addition to offering the basic essentials of a home environment, children at Twinomujuni are loved by the home’s director, support staff, and volunteers. Our hope is that each child knows they are special, deserving, and brilliant.
Romans 12:4-5, “For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.”
Founded in 2008 and based in Uganda’s Kabale District, Twinomujuni is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering the next generation to shape a brighter future for Africa. Our mission is to support orphaned and underserved children throughout every stage of life by equipping them with the knowledge, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive.
